Service Chiefs Advisory Council (SCAC)The Service Chiefs Advisory Council (SCAC) serves as an advisory body to the SOCCA Board of Directors on matters pertaining the nationwide organization and delivery of critical care services by anesthesiologists. The SCAC is comprised of the one to two individuals at each organization with the broadest purview over their organization's anesthesiology critical care medicine practice, seeking to create a nationally comprehensive and inclusive body. The SCAC also offers a collaborative forum for critical care service chiefs, supporting leadership in clinical operations, promoting institutional engagement, and offering mutual assistance while also advising the board on workforce and practice trends.
